Medtech Systems, Inc., a closely held Minnesota “C” corporation, was incorporated in 1998 as a medical product(s) engineering company that designs and markets devices intended to help customers reduce the risk of accidental needlestick injuries. The primary focus is to help eliminate those risks currently faced by healthcare employees and waste management workers. The company also recognizes the increasing need for efficient and effective disposal methods for those who self inject to manage medical conditions at home. In addition to the simple desire to do something humanitarian, The Company also recognizes that customers have a need for this type of solution, resulting from strict legislation in at least 21 states and the federal government regarding handling of medical biohazards.
