12TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL SHARPS INJURY PREVENTION AWARENESS MONTH COMING UP IN DECEMBER
December 1st is World's Aids Day where we have an opportunity to look at what we are doing wrong and what we are doing right to prevent the spread of this disease.  Please take the time to mark World Aids Day throughout the whole month as we also commemorate the 12th Annual International Sharps Injury Prevention Awareness Month.  ISIPS will be providing posters and articles all month that can be printed out and used in your facilities.  Check the website often for new posters.

The sharps injury awareness campaign is designed to provide information to healthcare workers, waste management workers, and others who are injured through needlestick and other sharps injuries each year. Hospitals, physician offices and others are invited to participate in providing educational articles, mini-posters with sharps safety information, etc.
