POSSIBLE HIV, HEPATITIS B AND C OUTBREAK ON NORTHERN NEVADA RESERVATION
At least 21 people of the Fort McDermitt Paiute-Shoshone Tribe have been potentially exposed to HIV, and Hepatitis B and C. According to Tribe Chairman Tildon Smart, the exposure is from a blood glucose pen that was reused and not properly sterilized between patients.
