Mylar®-wrapped Capillary tubes

Mylar®-wrapped capillary tubes provide precision of glass with the safety of a Mylar® overwrap. This greatly reduces the chance of contamination due to glass fragments or aerosols. If accidental breakage occurs, the Mylar® wrapping will help contain the blood sample and provides an added layer of protection against cuts from broken glass.
