Injection equipment

Injection equipment is used for the injection of intramuscular and subcutaneous medications. Products in this safety area include disposable syringes, needles with needle guards for attachment to syringes, needle guards with sliding sheaths or sleeve, or needle guards with a hinged recap.

Hypodermic Needle-Pro devices are available for most applications that require a needle to administer medications. Hypodermic Needle-Pro devices offer needle-based safety technology that allows clinicians the flexibility of removing a protected needle after drawing up medication into the syringe and performing the injection either with a second needle or through a needleless injection port.

Hypodermic Needle-Pro devices are available in a wide range of sizes from 18g to 27g, and are available individually, or attached to a 3, 5. or 10mL syringe or a 1 mL tuberculin syringe.

 

SafetyWand™ is the first patented injection device to be fully compliant with OSHA regulations under the federal Needlestick Safety Act while meeting the clinical needs of dentists and physicians.

SafetyWand incorporates safety engineering sharps protection features to aid in the prevention of needlesticks. SafetyWand will be used with Milestone’s CompuDent® computer controlled local anesthetic delivery system and sets a new level for safety engineered products.

SafetyWand provides fully automated true single-handed activation as well as the ability to re-use the device repeatedly during a single patient session, making it highly functional in a wide variety of medical and dental applications.
